Welcome to FlatPress!

FlatPress is a lightweight, easy-to-set-up blogging engine. Plain and simple, just PHP. No database needed!

Requirements

FlatPress runs on any web server (e.g. Apache or IIS) with PHP 5.6 or higher. Since all data is stored in files, no database is needed.

Getting started

Installing FlatPress is really easy!

Unzip FlatPress package
Upload to your web server
Browse to your web server, FlatPress installer appears
Enter your desired user name, password etc.
Enjoy blogging with FlatPress!

FlatPress was initially developed by Edoardo Vacchi (NoWhereMan). Edoardo was supported by Hydra, drudo, giulio, alcor, and Tychondriax.

Since 2018, FlatPress is taken care of by Arvid Zimmermann.
