# count_words
|

This is used to count the number of words in a variable.
|
|
|
|
## Basic usage
|

|
|
{$myVar|count_words}
|
|
```

## Examples

$smarty->assign('articleTitle', 'Dealers Will Hear Car Talk at Noon.');
